Paul Osborne

Paul Osborne, Past Chair

Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning

“The hospital is an integral part of any community but most people aren’t aware that patient care equipment is not covered by government funding. Whether it’s something large like a CT scanner or smaller purchases like IV pumps, the Foundation must work with local citizens to raise the funds to pay for it all. Let’s face it, no one wants to be in the hospital but there is peace of mind knowing that the hospital is equipped with the latest technology which in turn is operated by excellent physicians and staff members. As Chair, I can help that happen and that is very satisfying.”

Marianne Walker

President and CEO, Guelph General Hospital

“So much of what we do at the Hospital would not be possible without the generous support of our community. Nearly every dollar spent on the equipment we use for patient care must come from a community donor. Healthcare is changing at a rapid pace. For our passionate and professional staff to deliver high quality care and experience for patients and their families, they need a supportive environment, the right equipment and up-to-date technology. I am always so grateful and humbled by the amount of support we get from the community we serve.”
