Community partners play a vital role in Guelph General Hospital being able to acquire essential and life-saving equipment to be able to deliver the highest quality and safest care possible to patients. From IV pumps and vital signs monitors, to surgical equipment and diagnostic imaging machines, and even things as essential as stretchers and beds – it’s all funded through community support. Every dollar raised has a lasting impact to our community hospital and our patients. Together, with the support of our community, we can transform healthcare and create a healthier community for everyone.

Getting involved in our Local Businesses Care for Guelph General Hospital program is easy to do.

  1. Determine how you will fundraise. Ideas include; creating a special promotional offer or designating one of your existing promotions to the fundraising initiative, or accepting donations at the till
  2. Set a fundraising goal
  3. Determine a start and end date
  4. Work with FGGH to staff to get started

Send an e-mail to your subscribers, sharing the details of the fundraising promotion.We will include your event listing on our Foundation website.
Place posters, displays or pamphlets in-store.We will promote your event through our social media channels, such as Facebook and Instagram.
Post on all of your social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.We will promote Local Businesses Care for GGH through marketing campaigns that would include radio, print and email marketing, driving traffic to our website, showcasing all current and past events.
Include details on your website about your fundraiser and who you are supporting.Graphic design support may be accommodated upon request to help create a poster or social media graphic.  We will print for you, up to 3 posters for window displays in the sizes of 8.5”X11” or 11”X17”.
Place outdoor display signs.The Foundation would be pleased to host a photo cheque presentation, following your event. We will also list your support, post event, in our printed Newsletter.
