Christina Crowley-Arklie
Founder and Digital Communications Strategist, Crowley + Arklie Strategy & Co
Christina is the Founder and Digital Communications strategist behind Guelph-based digital communications business, Crowley + Arklie Strategy & Co. Her professional and personal experiences have led her to manage the communications efforts in the political, corporate, academic and non-for-profit sectors. Christina has ten years’ experience in communications, marketing and public relations, previously serving as Press Secretary and Senior Communications Advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Prior to working in provincial politics, Christina was the Manager of Strategic Communications at a national dairy organization, Holstein Canada.
Raised on her family’s fifth-generation dairy farm in Rural Ontario, Christina’s passion for agriculture led her to the University of Guelph where she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Agricultural Business with a specialization in Communications. She has since obtained her Digital Media and Social Media Certification from Harvard University.
An active advocate for Canada’s food system and a busy community volunteer, Christina has been recognized as a Top 40 under 40 by the city of Guelph, as a 10×10 Alumni with Impact by the University of Guelph’s College of Business & Economics, was a proud founding Leadership team member of Ag Women’s Network, continues to give back to the Ontario 4-H program and the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) Ambassador of the Fairs program and is pleased to currently serve as Vice President – External on the University of Guelph Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Christina resides in Guelph with her husband Andrew (also a former Guelph Gryphon) and their son Blake.
