Jan Craig
Today’s #MondayMotivation reminds us that even small gestures have big importance.
Jan Craig shares her story to illustrate this. She describes her part with the Foundation as “an event volunteer”.
Over the years, she has volunteered for many different community organizations through participation on boards, contributing to committee work or helping on the day of their fundraising events.
The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital has benefited from Jan’s help for many years. She’s helped at Taste of Guelph, Black Tie Bingo and Fore Our Hospital, on multiple occasions.
“I know how important volunteers are to events and I know I’m making it a little easier for the overall event to be a success” said Jan about her role.
We couldn’t agree more!
Fundraising events are a significant source of fundraising revenue, helping to fund many important patient care equipment needs at our Hospital.
Giving a day, or a part of a day, to help out is a small, but very meaningful contribution. Each volunteer plays a pivotal role in helping the entire event come together and run smoothly.
We are thankful for all gifts, whether it be time or money, whether it be a little or a lot. It all adds up to have a big impact.
