The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital Unveils Updated Donor Wall
On April 29th, 2024, The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital proudly unveiled the newly updated Donor Wall, recognizing donor contributions made through the end of 2023. This wall serves as a testament to the commitment of community members who have supported Guelph General Hospital (GGH) through their generous donations. The Donor Wall honours those whose total cumulative giving has reached $5,000 or more, celebrating the collective effort to transform healthcare at GGH.
This latest update saw 93 new donors make it onto the wall due to meeting or exceeding $5000 in cumulative giving and, in total, saw 225 donors added or moved into new categories, reflecting their growing contributions.
One particularly inspiring Donor Wall story is of Cindy, a long-time Registered Pharmacy Technician at GGH. Over 21 years of regular donations, Cindy’s cumulative giving surpassed $5,000 in 2020, earning her a place on the Donor Wall. Beyond financial contributions, Cindy has generously volunteered her time and energy at various Foundation events, such as Black Tie Bingo and Thanksgiving Day Races. Cindy’s dedication represents the profound impact that consistent generosity can have on the hospital and its community.
