Today is Doctor’s Day in the province of Ontario
Our #MondayMotivation is in honour of all of Ontario’s Doctors and the extraordinary contributions they make in the health care system.
Dr. Jennifer Caspers, our Hospital’s Chief of Staff of eight years now, is among those who have made such extraordinary contributions. She inspires dedication through her commitment to ensuring that patient care and the patient’s overall experience is “the best it can be”.
Jennifer’s commitment to this purpose is evident in her strong work ethic. She works double-duty as she is also a physician in her well respected Family Practice here in Guelph. As a family physician, she most enjoys witnessing and supporting families as they move through life’s stages.
As Chief of Staff, Jennifer contributes to multiple committees including the Hospital Board’s Quality Committee, the Senior Leadership Team, the Medical Advisory Committee that oversees medical best practice, and also a committee that oversees and takes action on patient feedback.
Jennifer says “the patient is at the centre of everything”
and she is exceptionally proud of the entire Guelph General healthcare team that demonstrates this every day through their care of patients and their families.
