Sarah Ferguson

Sarah Ferguson is the Manager of Community Engagement at the Foundation. When exploring her next career move, Sarah knew philanthropy was the path she wanted to take. For her, it’s a privilege to give back to the community that has given her so much, a place she has proudly called home for over 30 years.

In her role, Sarah oversees Foundation events such as Black Tie Bingo and Tour de Guelph. She also collaborates with community members and local businesses to help them organize their own fundraising events in support of Guelph General Hospital. Additionally, Sarah is the point person for the 50/50 Hospital Lottery and Split the Pot, giving her a front-row seat to the incredible generosity of donors and the community of Guelph-Wellington.

Every day, Sarah witnesses the impact of fundraising and donations on patient care. She knows that at some point, someone in the community will need the services provided at GGH and being part of the work that makes that possible is deeply rewarding.

Born and raised in Guelph, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and son. In her spare time, she loves playing softball, staying active, and taking advantage of everything this beautiful city has to offer.
