Marie Austin

Marie joins the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital as Executive Assistant and Board Liaison.  With a deep commitment to supporting those who support others, she brings great energy, enthusiasm, and engagement to her new role.

In this position, Marie’s passion for supporting the Board and collaborating with colleagues shines through. She is known for her strengths in process improvement, organization, and building warm, productive relationships.

While new to the nonprofit sector, Marie is certainly no stranger to community connection. She has been actively involved in her local community through volunteer work, supporting local food banks, and contributing to the 100 Women’s Club.

“My commitment to service and community inspires me to support the Foundation’s mission to enhance care and make a lasting difference here in Guelph” says Marie.

Outside of work, Marie enjoys dancing, golfing, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
