Calvin Hyde

Calvin joins the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital as a Development Officer. With a background in sales, community building, and stakeholder engagement, Calvin brings experience in growing relationships and driving results.

Before joining the Foundation, he managed membership sales and engagement at the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, where he led recruitment initiatives and built connections with organizations across the region. He also brings experience in student affairs, where he led teams, organized large-scale events, and built strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes.

In his role as Development Officer, Calvin focuses on strengthening donor programs, including Circle of Life, to ensure donors feel connected to the impact of their giving. His work is centered on building and nurturing relationships that advance the Foundation’s mission of exceptional healthcare for the Guelph-Wellington community.

Having lived and worked in the region for several years, Calvin is passionate about community and creating spaces of support and connection. He looks forward to contributing to the Foundation’s impact and strengthening healthcare close to home. In his spare time, Calvin enjoys running, reading, and exploring the trails near his home.
