Kelly Legge

Kelly Legge is a relationship-focused nonprofit leader with over a decade of experience in fundraising, community engagement, and organizational leadership. Her diverse career path includes roles in financial services, mental health advocacy, and grassroots initiatives, all united by a deep commitment to strengthening community connections and creating lasting impact.

Before joining The Foundation, Kelly served as Executive Director at Up and Running Guelph, where she led efforts to improve mental health through nature-based movement and social connection. Her work there reinforced her belief in the power of compassionate communities to create lasting change.

In her role as Senior Development Officer, Kelly works in close partnership with our wonderful community of supporters to raise awareness and funds for Guelph General Hospital. She brings a relationship-centred approach to her work that is grounded in trust, empathy, and shared purpose. Her focus is on cultivating meaningful connections that inspire generosity and transforms healthcare in our community through giving.

Kelly is passionate about creating opportunities for impact through collaboration and care. Outside of work, she enjoys being active outside, adventure racing, reading and supporting community events that bring people together.

Kelly says, “I was genuinely surprised to learn that 100% of patient care equipment at Guelph General Hospital is funded by our community. It’s inspiring to be part of a team helping turn generosity into life-changing impact.”
