Elizabeth Stewart

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Stewart and I’m the Annual Giving, Marketing & Communications Manager at The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital. I have the privilege of uncovering, writing and sharing inspiring stories about amazing people who contribute to patient care at Guelph General Hospital, and also stories about how patient care is made better at the Hospital through community support.

I support all our fundraising events, raising awareness and encouraging involvement. My personal favorite is Tour de Guelph.

Fun Fact: I started volunteering for Tour de Guelph and also participated as a Team Captain in the 2016 Tour de Guelph Community Team Challenge before I became a staff member of the Foundation – I lead a team that raised over $3,000 for the Hospital!

I love my job. It’s a privilege to work for an organization so near to my own heart. It’s also a privilege to partner with supporting community members and organizations who care as much as I do about making sure our community hospital is equipped to care for us when we need it to.

My philanthropy philosophy: Give when it’s close to your heart and also when it’s close to your home.
