Lisa Bellon is the Organizational Development Consultant at GGH. She works in combination with her Organizational Development colleagues and Human Resources to support staff where and when they need it.
“It is a privilege to witness people’s growth. It is a privilege to see teams work through very difficult issues and move forward.” Says Lisa “It makes me very passionate when people have the courage to say ‘I’m going to do this differently’ and they do it.”
Throughout Lisa’s 4.5 years at the Hospital she has provided staff with the tools to develop themselves, and their effectiveness of relationships with others.
Lisa completes her work with passion, drive and excitement with every interaction she has with the Hospital team. She understands what strategies work to support people in knowing what their role is and how everyone’s role contributes to excellent patient care.
She expresses, “I walk through these halls and there are such kind, generous people here; in all areas of the Hospital. People are just so pleasant. You matter, people matter to each other here… There’s a brightness here that’s generated and I think that’s what I love most about the Hospital.”
Lisa was recently recognized by a colleague for her compassion and empathy that shines when she leads the Hospital community through crucial conversations, 7 habits, 5 choices and one-on-one facilitation. She shares tools in order for excellence to be achieved.
