Summary
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada makes a $50,000 gift in support of lab automation at Guelph General Hospital.
We were pleased to welcome representatives from Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) for a special behind-the-scenes tour of the hospital’s future medical centre, where they saw firsthand how their support is helping shape the future of healthcare.
Their recent $50,000 gift in support of lab automation marks the continuation of a partnership focused on innovation and improved patient outcomes. Lab automation is a strategic Priority for Guelph General Hospital, designed to build capacity not only for the new Medical Centre but also to lay the foundation for future innovations in how we deliver care. By streamlining diagnostics, we can provide faster, more accurate results—empowering clinicians and improving the patient experience. During the visit, TMMC met with hospital leadership to learn more about our vision for the new space and the transformative impact of automation on diagnostic services.
“Partnerships like this one with Toyota are more than financial support’, said Julie Byczynski, CEO of the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital, ‘they’re a shared belief in the power of innovation to transform care. Together, we’re building a future where faster, smarter diagnostics lead to better outcomes for every patient we serve.”
We’re grateful for their commitment and look forward to growing this partnership as GGH builds healthcare bridges to a future hospital.
