Scotiabank Donation Supports New Medical Centre and Diagnostic Imaging Services

We’re proud to share that Scotiabank’s local branches have made a generous $20,000 donation in support of Guelph General Hospital’s new medical centre. This new facility will initially offer advanced diagnostic imaging services and house a second MRI machine, enhancing access to timely, high-quality care for our community.

This contribution builds on Scotiabank’s $200,000 multi-year investment, which continues to support other vital healthcare initiatives, including the redevelopment of the hospital’s emergency services space. Together, these investments reflect a strong and ongoing commitment to improving health outcomes and building a healthier future for all.

We were also delighted to welcome Sophia Miller, a passionate volunteer and valued member of our Philanthropy Leaders Cabinet, for a tour. Sophia’s leadership and advocacy have been instrumental in advancing our mission and inspiring others to support transformative healthcare projects.

Our deepest thanks go to the entire Scotiabank team and to all our community champions. Your generosity is helping shape the future of care in Guelph.
