Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation Donates $14,163!
A huge THANK YOU to The Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation for their extremely generous donation to The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital of $14,163!
This generous donation will aid Guelph General in purchasing an extremely important piece of patient care equipment – the Giraffe, Stand-alone Infant Resuscitation System. This piece of patient care equipment enables healthcare staff, at the hospital, to perform safe, effective, and fast resuscitation of infants. Because of its portability, this piece of equipment can be used anywhere it is needed in the hospital.
Since inception, The Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation has raised well over $1M dollars for local area hospitals and on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 we had a firetruck sized cheque presentation here at the hospital.
Our Guelph firefighters are busy running promotions and events to raise funds all year, including:
- Muscular Dystrophy Boot Drives
- Charity Softball Tournaments
- Pro Hockey Heroes Benefit Hockey Game
- GWN Wrestling Event
- Golf Tournaments
- Change 4 Change Campaign
- Bingo Nights
- Comedy Shows
- and many more!
