We are excited to announce a generous pledge of $125,000 from Jay Elinesky and Tom Schuett of Elinesky Schuett Private Wealth of RBC Dominion Securities. Their gift will support the new Guelph General Hospital medical centre and fund essential equipment needs at GGH.

This remarkable commitment builds on their years of loyal support, which started with a single gift 20 years ago, and will help bring new patient care equipment and technology to our community.

“As business leaders in Guelph, we feel a deep responsibility to give our time, talent, and resources to support the communities we serve,” said Jay Elinesky, Senior Portfolio Manager at Elinesky Schuett Private Wealth. “The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital plays an instrumental role in supporting the needs of the hospital and our community, and we are incredibly proud to continue our involvement with the Foundation with our new pledge.”

“Our team have been long-time supporters of the Foundation, a cause which aligns with our team’s core values and resonates strongly with our team members,” said Tom Schuett, Senior Portfolio Manager at Elinesky Schuett Private Wealth. “Our new pledge is a reflection of our commitment to the Foundation and supporting its mission of improving patient care and fostering a healthier and happier community.”

“Donors fund every piece of patient care equipment we purchase at Guelph General Hospital so our community makes an incredible difference in the care we provide,” said Mark Walton, President and CEO of Guelph General Hospital. “We are deeply grateful to have philanthropic leaders in our community like Jay, Tom, and the team at Elinesky Schuett Private Wealth. Their generous gift will help expand access to diagnostic imaging and bring the equipment and technology needed to make a healthier community for everyone.”
