Thanks to the generosity and commitment of Circle of Life, $800,000 will be directed towards enhancing Guelph General Hospital’s Vascular Surgery Suite. This is a significant contribution to the vascular equipment costs that will help attract and retain leading surgical talent, maintain Guelph General’s role as a Regional Vascular Surgery Program, and, most importantly, save more lives.
The results of the vote followed a highly competitive selection process. In December 2025, three Guelph General physicians presented transformational projects for consideration at the Circle of Life’s Annual Celebration. Dr. Afshin Jahromi’s proposal to enhance the hospital’s Vascular Surgery Suite emerged as the top choice.
