The Circle of Life – Inner Circle: Engaged Philanthropy in Action
Imagine having a direct say in how your donation transforms healthcare in your community. That’s exactly what members of the Circle of Life – Inner Circle experience every year. This unique giving collective at The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital goes beyond traditional philanthropy – it’s engaged giving, where donors come together to collectively decide which critical hospital project their pooled donations will fund each year.
Each member contributes $2,500 or more annually and, as part of this exclusive group, casts an anonymous vote to determine which of three high-priority equipment needs or patient care innovations – carefully selected by hospital staff – will receive funding, ensuring their generosity makes the greatest possible impact on patient care.
Over the years, the Inner Circle has made a profound difference by funding essential equipment and advancements, including:
• Hematology analyzers for the Laboratory
• Ultrasound machines for Diagnostic Imaging
• Fracture table and surgical instruments for operating rooms
• Ventilators for the Intensive Care Unit
• Dedicated bedside vital signs monitors for improved patient care
• A 3D-enabled digital mammography machine for Diagnostic Imaging
The power of collective giving means that individual contributions add up to something truly extraordinary – ensuring that Guelph General Hospital remains equipped with the latest technology and innovative solutions to provide exceptional care.
As a member of the Circle of Life – Inner Circle, you’re not just making a donation – you’re helping to decide how it transforms healthcare in our community.
