Paul moved to Guelph in 1984 to work in broadcasting at CJOY/Magic FM radio where he worked as a morning show co-host, eventually becoming the station’s Operations Manager.  After 12 years in Guelph he became Vice-President of AM96/Dave FM radio in Cambridge.  In 1998 he became the Guelph Storm’s Director of Business Operations, helping the team transition from Memorial Gardens to the Sleeman Centre.

Paul started working at Conestoga in 2000 and is currently Associate Vice-President Marketing & Community Relations, helping the institution become the fastest growing college in Ontario over the past ten years with a 90% increase in enrollment.

He has a three-year diploma in broadcasting, an honours degree in Communications, and a Master’s degree in Education.

Paul is a founding member of the Guelph Sports Hall of Fame and the Guelph Grizzlies volleyball club and still writes his weekly “From the Stands” column in the Guelph Mercury Tribune.  He is a past board member of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce and has done volunteer work with the Children’s Foundation of Guelph Wellington and Hospice Wellington.

Paul has lived in Guelph since 1984 and has three children.
